Now, whenever I'm writing a book, I'm imagining it as an offensive task. I'm seeking to accomplish something. It's not a cozy, I want to bathe people in sweet things they already know. I'm wanting to accomplish something. And therefore, it is a sword-wielding task. And I'm expecting some of what I say to be encouraging, some of it to be uncomfortable.
