MOUNCE’S EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY
Noun: καιρός, like chronos, can be used as a temporal indicator, such as a particular season (“it was not the season for figs,” Mk. 11:13). But unlike chronos, which is more focused on chronological time, kairos is time as significant events
(The dictionary entry is abridged from Mounce‘s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words, https://billmounce.com/dictionary).
